John W. Roddy is a Partner within the firm’s construction, tort, business and civil litigation practice areas.
John has over ten years of defense experience in general civil litigation, along with a background in insurance coverage and representation of clients in response to citations issued by OSHA. He has also served in the capacity as general counsel for construction contractors and pharmaceutical distribution companies.
John specializes in defense of cases involving high exposure construction site accidents, motor vehicle accidents, commercial trucking accidents, and premises liability actions, including wrongful death, traumatic brain injury and other catastrophic injury cases.
He has experience in all stages of litigation in both State and Federal Court, including law and motion, alternative dispute resolution and trial. He has successfully argued multiple cases before courts of appeal.
John graduated from California State University, Long Beach, in 2000, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy. He earned his Juris Doctorate in 2003 from Southwestern University School of Law.
John is licensed to practice in the State of California, as well as in the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Central, Northern and Southern Districts of California.
